I look for the perfect acorns in the forest and then work on processing them and preparing them for dyeing. To preserve them, they are cleaned in water and baked for several hours to dry and kill the insects inside. When they are dry, I degrease the surface and apply 2-3 coats of base paint to each acorn. Then I carefully hand paint each acorn. After they dry, I apply an acrylic gloss varnish and let them set overnight. I do not cover the acorn caps with varnish, but leave them real. Together it has a very nice and original look.
NOTE that acorns may vary in size, some will be larger and some will be smaller. I do my best to give you the biggest ones I can! The photos show examples of my medium-sized acorns.
They are sold in sets of 10/20/30 pieces

The sets come in a beautiful holiday package, so it's a ready-made Christmas gift for your loved ones and friends!
